This is my wife Irma Blanche Jones genealogy. Most of her branch of the Jones surname live in Northeast Arkansas in Cross County however family members are spread across the United States. Her father Deward Jones passed away in May, 2005 and is buried in the Aikens Cemetery, Cross County, Arkansas along with his father A. D. and other members of the Jones family.
A. D. (Adrian Dale) Jones was her Grandfather who settled in Arkansas after moving from the Marshall County, Mississippi area. Wyatt H. Jones was the father of A. D. with little know about the man. We do know that on the 1860 census records for Marshall County, Wyatt gave his place of birth as North Carolina as well as the same for his parents. His wife was Mary Cornelia who gave her place of birth as Tennessee.
The Jones family of Mississippi have many relatives with the Dodson and Garth family names. The GEDCOM link has the records establishing this relationship.
